Management Information System (MIS) focuses on providing an overview of information systems form an organization, managerial, and technical perspective. The course is conceptualized with the end view for students to demonstrate knowledge in the strategic role of information systems and information technology in business processes, change and knowledge management, group and individual decision-making, and electronic commerce. Each class session will be structured in the different topics covered by the course. Students will be guided and directed in learning current hardware, infrastructure and connectivity technologies and systems development methodologies. Outputs are required for each topic as validation of their learning skills using actual business cases.
